Note about tracklist:
- tracks 2-10 to 2-12 not listed as Demo Versions, however on the back of the packaging, there is a **Demo Version listing at the bottom of the track listing.. and there are no tracks marked as **, but in the notes John Martyn calls them "unfinished" so it seems those were supposed to be the (Demo Version)s.
- track 2-11 listed as "When It's Dark", but notes suggest the actual title is "Never Say Never".
- track 2-13 is the single version recorded with the band, whereas the original album version was just John on guitar (according to the notes in the booklet).

Track 2-6: recorded on 3rd Dec 1972.
Track 2-7: recorded on 30th Sept 1971.
Track 2-8: recorded on 26th Nov 1972.
Track 2-10: recorded on 13th Sept 1972. [no recorded by credit listed in booklet]
Track 2-11: recorded on 20th Oct 1972.
Track 2-12: recorded on 12th Feb 1972.
Tracks 2-14 to 2-16: recorded at The Olympia, Boulevard des Capucines, Paris on 25th March 1974 (during the second of two shows on that date) on the Island Mobile Unit
