A1, "Soundweb (1978)" (full title "Soundweb for Trombone with tape delay and electronic music") was recorded December 21, 1979 in the Recording and Electronic Music Studios, University of East Anglia with Tryggvi Tryggvason as the recording engineer. The electronic music was realised in the electronic music studios of the Victoria University of Wellington and the University of Auckland.

A2, "Poi (1979)" was composed in July 1979 using the Music 11 Language of Digital Sound Synthesis developed by Barry Vercoe. The work was realised in the Experimental Music Studio of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

A3, "Colder Far Than Snow (1976)" was composed in the Electronic Music Studio, University of Toronto in December 1976.

B1, "Composition 6" and B2, "Composition 9" were recorded in the Maidment Theatre, University of Auckland by John Ruffell and realised in the Electronic Music Studios of the Victoria University of Wellington.
