"A follow up album to "Australia and all that jazz volume one" (recorded 1971) these eight pieces (from 1976) are also derived from themes written for the Australian Museum's Environmental Film , as produced by Howard Hughes, who heads up the Museum's Film and Photography Dept., and whose photographs deocrate this album. Basically the same orchestra, with the main difference being am enlargement of the flute sections by scoring for Don Burrow's multi-recording of the entire flute family: fife, concert flutes, alto flutes and bass flutes (and some multi'd clarinets) to make some of the warmest, thickest, fat-est and most moving flute music Iive ever heard in my life, even if I do say so myself".....
