John Allen and Michael Spalding first met in 1964 when John moved from Liverppol to Surbiton, Mike's hometown, and then joined the gospel beat group of which Mike ws the lead singer. Six months later Mike left and joined a well-known gospel folk group where he stayed until 18 months ago when both left their groups to form their own. Since then they have developed a syule unique in the field of gospel music. Much of their time is devoted to singing in colleges, universities, folk clubs and coffee bars. This is their first record.
