Having written songs the Allman Brothers, Dickey Betts and Dr Hook (to name a few), it's time that Johnny Cobb's name got better known as a performer in his own right.

He records for Electra/Asylum Records in the USA and his work has been nominated for several Grammy awards.

He appears nationally on television in the Nashville network show 'Dancin' USA' which reaches over 20 million viewers across the USA and Canada.

Johnny has recorded and performed with Ronnie Milsap and played bass on three of Ronnie's LP's, all of which went platinum.

Asis sometimes the case with American artists, none of Johnny Cobb's recordings have been released in the UK and I'm pleased to be able to present him on this, his first Radioplay release.

Although he is based in Nashville, Johnny is definitely not a country sounding artist. The music on this LP is firmly in a contemporary pop format - give it a listen.
