In 1987, Jonathan King accused the Pet Shop Boys of plagiarizing the melody from Cat Stevens’ “Wild World” in their song It's A Sin. To prove his point, he released this cover, with music imitating “It’s a Sin” but with modified lyrics from “Wild World”. Pet Shop Boys successfully sued Jonathan King for defamation and donated the results to charity.Side AA is a cover of a Tom Petty song.
