Album Info

Release Date: 2011

Label: Nomadic Fortress

Recorded at home and originally released in very limited fashion on DIY dubbed cassette tapes, 'Nadir' is the earliest Jucifer recording to be made available in digital form. This time in the band's career may even predate the name Jucifer. Around the time of the recording, O.J. Simpson "The Juice" made his infamous slow motion non-escape from police from which drummer Livengood coined the name Jucifer.

Two songs from this period would be recorded professionally in years following: 'Glamourpuss' (1995, featured on the 1998 album 'Calling All Cars On The Vegas Strip') and 'Prime' (renamed 'The Shape Of Texas' recorded in 2003 and featured on the 2004 'War Bird' EP).
