2002 re-recording of Judas Iscariot's 1996 debut LP, "The Cold Earth Slept Below". Originally released in a limited edition LP on German cult record label, Sombre Records, shortly before the owner (Marcel Spaller) succumbed to a long battle with brain cancer. This was one of his final releases on the label and the last release from Judas Iscariot on Sombre Records. Never before has this album been released officially on cassette or CD, and the LP has not seen a repressing until now. The Ascension Monuments Media versions of this record are dedicated to the memory of Marcel Spaller and Sombre Records' legacy in the underground.
