Julius Dobos, platinum-album composer, known for his music releases Connecting Images (1998) and the critically acclaimed instrumental album Mountain Flying (1999), as well as for his music written for European and US movies, such as Europe Express, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, and Paul Blart MallCop, is returning with a long-awaited album of original music compositions compiled from his musical works created between 2004–2010.

Titled Transitions, referring to the stylistic metamorphoses of the composer and his musical environment throughout the years, as well as his transition into the film music industry and back into his career as a solo artist, the album features 19 tracks in styles ranging from electro-orchestral to electronic and ambient.

The highly anticipated titles of the album are Nightlight, The Journey, and Fly Away, the latter being stylistically reminiscent of Mountain Flying. A music video of Fly Away is also being released in January. The album is scheduled to be available for digital download worldwide on Amazon.com, iTunes and major online and mobile music retailers from late January 2011. Physical copies of “Transitions” will be available worldwide in February 2011.

While a compilation album, Transitions marks Julius Dobos’ return to his solo career, personal composition style and European, electronic music roots.
