"This project charts a cycle of love and evolution, and the acceptance to helm the mic and feedback on the experience. I wove incantations to release the bullshit and invoke the new shit, composed throughout several lunar transitions of 2023, in the honor of Mahina phases, forgiveness & persistence, and the birth month of my maternal wahine. Featured vocal collaborators are DSC figureheads, Ray Ray Gold and Ian. Joining in rare surfacings for each are my first sisters in chant, Neila, and Leila, respectively. The driving pulsations on each track are blessings from One-Oh-Beats, whose production BPMs are like my own heartbeat. I hope you might discover new and/or familiar pangs in our peculiar recipes of poetic ideations.
