Album Info

Release Date: 2007

Label: Hi-Try Records

"Look out for the devil was the first time the Tryall Heights crew came foward. Big up Dockies, Lauxley, Dennis, Pucko and Ossie.
The music was by The Solid Foundation Band, Pablove Black, Benbow, Sowell, Chokie Taylor and Junior Dan. This song was recorded at Lee Perry's Black Ark studio, on the same day we recorded "Curly Locks" (sung by Junior Byles) at the time we were the resident band for the studio. It was aimed at the politicians and producers. We took the tape to King Tubby's to voice and mix.
The chorus of Give Thanks was written by myself and Fred Locks. The music was by some musicians from Twelve Tribes band and some from my studio band (Blood, Relative and Friends). they were I Lawi on drums, Dalton Brownie / Sowell on gits, Dennis Fearon on piano and myself on bass and keyboard overdubs. We recorded that at the JIS studio with Tuffy Robinson as engineer. He used to get us in at nights and we worked through the night. Give Thanks to Jah."
