Kago: "My third album is compiled from tracks made mostly in Tartu town and countryside farm of Räestu. Some melodies (6,9) were heard in dream. Many tracks are made together with my wife Liisu, exlporing the ways of family music. Title “Mopskassi maja” (Kisscat's House) has also been some inside phrase of ours, with no definite meaning, more said when one feels like that. Feelings that came from childhood are sometimes continuing (2,4). Texts by Georg Trakl are very fitting to give it a voice. For first time in tried to find my own way in canon of old estonian way of singing - regi (runic) song. For the first time I used a sampled loop as a background (made with Pastacas, Mari Kalkun, Erko Niit and Liisu), but the loop began with me singing the melody of the tune – straight from the dream. Record begins with a personal morning prayer told by Anne Vabarna in 1940 – troubled times always need a pure attitude. I am trying to find rare songs or variants of text, like the mystical story of God sending the Lent-message to church in the form of letter in “Keeping the Lent” which is part of longer easter song. I think these words, sung by Miku Od'e in 1903, have´nt been in use for some 80 years. To disappointment of some and joy to others, there are also two tracks of accoustic punk. Methinks this style is most adequate way to express some things. Track 13 is actually made in 1993 and as I loved the way punk sounded when played through old soviet cassette recorders, I tried to reproduce it. Also there is some tracks with electraccoustic overtones and some ambient to keep the mind quiet of awaken the subconcoius."
