At one time or another, I'm sure that most of us have met someone for the first time and struck up an immediate friendship. This recently happened to me on my radio programme "Open House". One of my guests that morning was Kamahl, Australia's finest male vocalist. He makes you feel good, and his warmth and sincerity is evident from the start. You know what a good friend he would be.
As vice president of "The Save the Children Fund" in New South Wales, Kamahl has donated much of his time and money to this worthy cause, and by doing so, has helped many handicapped children who otherwise would have been condemned to a life of tragedy. Even now, Kamahl has kindly donated all of his royalties from this album to the fund, and that's typical of this man who loves people.
Kamahl is a great entertainer, who has brought pleasure to millions of people in his native land, and now this special album introduces him to you.
I think he's great - I'm sure you will too. Pete Murray
