"Songs For Cannibal Generations is a compilation of material recorded between 2006 and 2008; two of the tracks [II and V] have already been released on the strictly limited release 'Songs For A Cannibal Generation', which was never available for purchase but was and still is available for download on the Kanibal Hymn-website. From the very beginning, my intention was to release an expanded version of the demo, but I didn't intend for it to take more than a year to come out. Some of the tracks were originally intended for releases that fell through, and even for entirely other projects, and as such there is some variation in the style and atmosphere between the tracks. Despite this, Songs For Cannibal Generations is also a unified whole, with a concept that spans all tracks. These are songs for the children of our children's children, to whom I wish to leave not only a barren, destroyed planet earth, but also these songs, even if they will never be able to hear them.
