To contrary belief. Kaleidoscope is not from origin a Mexican band. All 3 groups originate from either Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. None of the band members are Mexican. Yet Kaleidoscope is always mentioned to be Mexican. What happened was that producer Edgar Zamudio (from Peru), travelled to Mexico to press their first album in 1969. He brought the master tapes over and they stayed there. (was recorded in the Dominican republic at studio Fabiola)...The same counts for Karma and Iron-Fire (alternatively called Cacique)... Most songs on this compilation are from early 1970s and some were released also in Colombia and Peru. It does not sound like Santana at all except for track nr 2 Hispaniola. The rest is heavy garage-psychedelic rock with latin flavor.

There are to date 3 different colours of the back of the sleeve.
