All tape profits from this EP will be donated to Mental Health America of Los Angeles in an effort to aid those suffering from anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide, and all struggles of mental health.
This EP is dedicated to all who have ever suffered from mental illness, struggled with mental health, been victims to depression and anxiety, and all those who have had thoughts of suicide. Help is available, there are alternatives to self harm. Find peace in your friendships, your family, your scene, and yourself. Someone or something will always be there for you.
To help combat racial inequality, police brutality, and injustice,Karst has decided to release our album on June 19th in correspondence with bandcamp’s “Juneteenth” day of donation. All of bandcamp’s shares on June 19, 2020 will be donated to the NAACP legal defense fund, and we will be donating all of our digital profits as well to the LGBTQ Freedom Fund. We had originally planned to donate the majority of our profits to Mental Health America of Los Angeles, but we have collectively decided to donate all cassette tape profits to MHALA and all digital profits to the LGBTQ Freedom Fund. Both these missions are of equal importance to us, especially with our subject matter dealing mostly with mental health and mental illness, but the current state of momentum being fueled toward combating police brutality and racial inequality cannot be ignored and must continue. To all those protesting and voicing out against racism, police brutality, and injustice: keep on fighting and do not stop. Listen and take guidance from your BIPOC community. Be safe and stay alert.
