Label: P.P.O.P. Records

Source Signals 2 is a multichannel electroacoustic composition of 27 minutes and 40 seconds from 2020, based exclusively on guitar sounds. The large form of Source Signals 2 was conceived as an ‘album’: the material groups were composed first, after which the large form was assembled. To emphasise the connection with the vinyl release Source Signals (PPOP003), the parts of Source Signals 2 are called “Signal 7” to “Signal 14” (“Signal 1” to “Signal 6” are on the Source Signals LP, together with “Source 1” to “Source 10”). Source Signals 2 was premiered in the Royal Conservatoire’s Arnold Schoenbergzaal on 8 December 2020 for a small but refined audience, due to coronavirus restrictions.
CD-tracks 1–8 contain a stereo mix for loudspeakers, CD-tracks 9–16 a binaural mix for headphones.

The CD comes in a hand-numbered wallet, which is packed in a 7-inch vinyl sleeve together with a 24-page 14.7 x 14.7 cm booklet and a 58,8 x 14.7 cm foldout.

Limited edition of 250 copies.
