This is the third of three joint releases by Suburban Base and Moving Shadow following The Joint LP and The Joint II.
On both discs the odd-numbered tracks are from Moving Shadow and the even ones from Suburban Base.

Packaged in 24mm double jewel case.
Mix names are only listed in the booklet and none are given for tracks 1-18, 2-02 and 2-05.

The two discs were subsequently released separately in 1996 on Sub Base Records USA as A History Of Hardcore Part 1 and A History Of Hardcore Part 2 respectively.
