This Compilation is selected from his years of recording for Reprise Records (as Kenny Rogers & The First Edition, 1967-1970), Liberty/United Artists Records (1976-1983), RCA (1984-1988), Reprise Records (1989-1991), and Dreamcatcher Records (1999-2003).

(Although originally recorded for Reprise Records, all material recorded as Kenny Rogers & First Edition has since been acquired by Universal Music Group. Liberty and United Artists Records labels were acquired and merged into Capitol Records in the early-1980s. RCA was acquired by BMG Music, Inc. in the mid-1980s).
