Album Info

Release Date: 1993

Label: Paradise Productions

Although "Honolulu City Lights" topped Honolulu Magazines 2004 feature "The 50 Greatest Hawaii Albums of All Time," this Japan-issued CD has only the most basic information. As a result most of the information is taken from the album cover for the LP. On the LP, "Pauoa Liko Ka Lehua" is attributed to Charles E. King, but most other sources list Emma Bush as the writer. The LP also lists Keola and Kapono Beamer as the writers of "Ka Makani Kaili Aloha." They may warrant credit for arrangement. The names of Manning and Hoffman for "Seabreeze" probably indicate the writers of the English words for Irmgard Farden Aluli's Hawaiian song "Puamana." The web site huapala.org lists Kimo Kamana rather than Charles E. King as the writer of "Pua Tubarose."
