Tracks 1-4 were recorded at Maida Vale 4 on 11/12/1981 and first broadcasted on 16/12/1981.

Track B8 'Bodies' is a cover of the Sex Pistols song, the only known instance of Killing Joke recording a cover version. When this cassette was first reissued on CD, (2003), 'Bodies' was omitted, though it is restored on the Eastworld label's reissue of the CD (31 Oct 2008) which also includes an 11 track live DVD of a 1981 show in the USA.
