For a short period of time, exclusively at Disk Union (Tokyo) and on their web site, this Japanese edition* was bundled with an additional, official, promotional box (measuring approximately H=145mm x W=145mm x T=27mm) in which to store the HQCD+DVD set, as well as an additional promotional wrap around Obi strip.

*This 2015 Japan set includes:
- an Obi strip, covering the back entirely;
- a K2HD Mastering HQCD, compatible with any CD player;
- a DVD-Audio/Video;
- a Mini-LP sized gatefold cardboard sleeve with original 'THRAK' artwork;
- a Mini-LP sized cadboard sleeve with original 'THRAK (4 Track Sampler)' artwork;
- a 16-page color booklet with liner notes in English by Sid Smith;
- a black & white fold out leaflet with liner notes and lyrics both in Japanese;
- a resealable clear protection sleeve holding all items together.
