Label: Top 10 Records

First bunch of remixes of King Electric's self titled debut album.

Being a drummer Sixtus Preiss knows how to astonish audiences with sophisticated handmade beats. Needless to say that, as member of the Affine Gang (incl fellas like Cid Rim, The Clonious or Dorian Concept), he stands out with his originality and a nevertheless strong sense for the prevalent Zeitgeist. His "Paralyzed" Reprater remix is catchy and charismatic and also absolutely danceable.

We were blown away when we first heard B.Visible on decks (supporting one of King Electric Live Gigs)! Wicked remix of Corbucci Westworld Dub Epos "Yul Brynner"! An outstanding feature of B.Visible's sense of funk 'n' humor! Glitch Hop as it's best.

No surprise that Vienna's downtempo master Manni Montana has chosen the King Electric Top 10 Indie Charts Hit "Out Of Reach". His "Handshake Dub" comes as a subsonic tune with skilfully intertwined noise snippets, continuously thickening bass lines and smashing beats.

Badass GoodStuff Guns is nothing less than a nasty old school Splatter-Electro Hazard! First KE Single "Da King", transformed into Solomon size NAS Mash Up with disturbing make-up effects, skull cracking beats and "deutschfunk" synth basslines.

Tremendous comeback of legendary Berlin based Techno act Memory Foundation. "Pinball Wizard" Wild Fyre Mix is - without any doubt - the sickest filter ride you may get on any Warehouse Party. Robert Hood on Acid.

Tokyo native Takafumi Sakurai aka Emufucka was recently featured on the likes of XLR8R and BBC Radio, and Red Bull Music Academy recruited him to perform this year. On Remixology he writes his own genre and transforms his personal King Electric favourite "Commit Yourself" into a japanese sci-fi movie with dusty noise and synthesized melodies. Creepy!
