- Misspelled titles/tracks on this release:
 Title on front of box: "Todesverkundigung" instead of "Todesverkündigung"
 Track B: "schmählisch" instead of "schmählich"
 Track B: "Brunnhilde's" instead of "Brünnhilde's"
- Side numbers are in auto-coupled order
- Side number 4 (which has Act 2 on it) is (mis)printed as side 2 on the label.
- Act 1, with Flagstad as Sieglinde and conducted by Knappertsbusch, was recorded in October 1957.
 These fragments, effectively trial runs for the "Ring", were superseded by Solti’s complete recording in Oct - Nov 1965.
