"Lautenquintett" based on Nikolaij Rimsky-Korssakoff "Der Hummelflug / Bumble Bee" - Camille Saint-Saëns "Der Karneval der Tiere / Le Carnaval des Animaux" (written as "Le Carneval des Animeaux" with two mistakes on inside cover). Although not listed in the credits "Lautenquintett" Part 1, 4 are based on "Le Coucou/The Cookoo" (Louis-Claude Daquin).

Track 5 is incorrectly titled Ungarische Tänze, Nr. 2, but actually it is Brahms' Ungarische Tänze No. 5. This has been corrected in subsequent Vinyl reissue.

Recorded 1991 to March 1993, Hambühren, KS Moldau Musik Studios.
Album was originally titled "MIDI Klassik", but record company changed it into the more salable title.
