"Uniko" was commissioned by Kimmo Pohjonen & Samuli Kosminen for the Kronos Quartet.
"Uniko" was composed over an eighteen-month period before its world premiere in Helsinki in September 2004.

Recorded at Avatar Studios, NYC, 2007.
