Sylvia was recorded on June 28 and 29, 1958, in Watford Town Hall, outside London. Recording sessions for Coppélia took place in Northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis on December 21 and 22, 1957. Both works were recorded on 3-track half-inch tape using one 201 and two M-56 Telefunken microphones. Sylvia was originally released as SR2-9006 and Coppélia as SR2-9005.

Only ORIGINAL MASTERS used for transfer to Compact Disc.
