This CD is based on the West Jutland popular Brorson hymns and spiritual songs tradition; the Popular Brorson songs. The lyrics are from Hans Adolph Brorson's Hymn Book which contains the collections "Troens Rare Klenodie" and "Svanesang". The melodies are from popular oral tradition as collected by M. K. Sand, Peter Morre Pedersen, Carl Clausen, a.o. The "Obo Og Orgel" tracks are composed variations of the previous hymn.
