the following 4 tracks [1 to 4] contain various sounds that were used for either pre-production or versions and mixes of "cloned" that are not available on the regular 12"/mcd's/l.p/cd but on different compilations. some of these sounds finally appeared again in the final mixes. track #5 - #19 contain all the sounds that were used for creating the 5 "cloned" versions available on the "cloned" l.p/cd. the sounds are indexed in connexion with the versions they were taken from.

"cloned:binary" is a sample collection of more than 200 sounds taken directly from master tapes and digital sound sources, that were used to create the disparate versions of "cloned": drums / percussion / synth / fx / vocals & bonus loops + mixes. "cloned:binary" is not only a sample collection, it also demonstrates the structure of "cloned" its architecture and unique pioneering character. it also gives an insight into lassigue bendthaus' esthetics of sound and de-composition. this work should not be confused with a normal music cd!
