Album Info

Release Date: 2022-01-27

Label: Beginners Tapes

Beginners very proudly present the complete recordings of Long Island, New York band Last Days of August.

Both the digital and physical versions represent the first time the entire recorded history of Last Days of August has been presented as a complete body of work. Both also mark the first re-release of "Dead Boys Club", "Words I Wish Were Mine", and their four-song self-titled demo cassette.

The cassette version represents the first analog release of their lone album "last days of august...", and the songs "Dead Boys Club", and "Words I Wish Were Mine".

Arriving at the end of the second wave of emo, yet forecasting some of the poppier leanings of third-wave emo, Last Days of August forged their own sound, equal parts indebted to East Coast Post-Hardcore, Midwest Emo, mid-90s Indie Rock & Punk.

Last Days of August was:

Phil Capone - Guitar

Salvatore Montemaggiore - Vocals
