Radar is a system for detecting the presence, direction, distance and speed of objects, by sending out pulses of radio waves which are reflected off the object and back to the source.

Lastee relates to the function of the radar so much that it has spilled over into his craft. The title for this EP came about after the hit song Ring Of Lies, which he contributes a hook and a verse to, catapulted his career into a different realm, a much better one. Having been making music since 2008, he felt he’d been waiting for so long for his opportunity to break into the mainstream that it started feeling like there was a certain quality that he needed to possess in order to gain recognition, hence the title Radar.

The EP consists of 10 songs with genres ranging from Hip-Hop to 70’s influenced Disco music. He felt such a track list would be fitting since he always tries to experiment with different sounds and strives for versatility. He makes smooth transitions from singing to rapping in vernacular and succeeds in showing us that his visibility on the ‘radar’ is not only clear but also expanding.
