This album consists of some of my favourite showtunes. All of them are skillfully composed melodies and beautifully crafted lyrics which you can hear even though you are listening to an instrumental version of the song. I always admire good musicianship and the ability to gently swing along. Dave Olney and Graham Dean certainly do that on this album. It was a pleasure for me to sit there and be carried along on their solid foundation. Keith Grant was the recording engineer on the trio tracks. He is one of my oldest friends and he has helped everyone of note in the music business to sound at their best. The solo piano titles were recorded in my studio by my engineer and friend Pete Keeley. Pete is just a magician! He works wonders in matching, mixing and brewing up.

I hope that you enjoy this small offering and that you hear some of your favourite showtunes because it's Showtime.
