This edition presents all of Lee Morgan's studio recordings in a quartet setting through1960, compiled here for the first time ever on a single CD. Contained within are the complete sessions that produced the celebrated album Candy (Blue Note 93176), the trumpeter's only entirely quartet album ever, as well as various single quartet tracks from sessions that otherwise featured additional horns. A blues featuring Morgan as the only horn with various percussionists has been added here as a bonus at the end of our set.
