"on january 16th 1936, three schizophrenic patients were released from brooklyn state hospital. with only a few dollars collectively, they decided to buy instruments they never played before and made an album in the local recording booth. ten minutes into recording the producer hung himself with three guitar strings. the musicians went missing shortly after never to be seen again. only a lyric sheet and newspaper cuttings of albert fish's execution were found in the butcher shop studio. after ruthless digging, robin gold found the only surviving masters in berlin and now they are up for release for the first time"
