Since three albums the songs of Les Milou are easily identified by their characteristic arrangements that refer to French Pop and British bands like the Pet Shop Boys or Erasure. In the Milou’s corpus of works, most of the songs celebrate love and its torments. As the 19th French poets like Baudelaire, Rimbaud or Verlaine, the texts refer to love, to optimism, but also guide us towards light and dark, night, dreams and imaginary delights. The romantic encounter, the games of seduction are discussed with the same disillusioned and disenchanted tone. Other songs deal with social issues such as religion (Le Soldat Inconnu) or environmental degradation (Un autre ciel).
As the band ceased activity, Collection is their first and unique compilation.
