Part of the "サヴォイ名盤マスター・トランスファー・コレクション." Series, a re-release of the original Savoy release "The Immortal" with bonus-tracks added.
Cover is a cardboard replica of the original Savoy LP cover in a plastic cover and comes with an inserted sheet with credits and tracklist.

On the cover, the title is the original Savoy release title, "The Immortal".
On the disc , the insert, and the side of the cover, the title is "Blue Lester" (official title of this release).
On the Obi the title is "Blue Lester + 3"

Tracks miscredited to Lester Young: Though all tracks on this release is credited to Lester Young as leader, several of the tracks here were originally released as 78 RPM's with other musicians credited as leader and with Lester Young in the role as sideman only. The original leaders/artists are credited for the relevant tracks in the credits section.
Over time, Lester Young grew more famous than the original leaders on these tracks, and in the 50's when these tracks were re-released on 10" albums, they started to appear as was Lester Young the leader on the sessions.
