These selections stem from five sessions.
Tracks #’s 6 and 8 took place in San Antonio’s TNT studios the session musicians are unknown. The rest of the recordings were made at Houston’s A.C.A. Studios in 1961; Track #3, Elmore Nixon (Piano), Ivory Lee Seimens (drums) in 1968; Track #’s 1, 5, 10, 11, 14, 16, 18, 19 Cedric Haywood (piano), Lawrence Evans (bass), Ben Turner (drums). The line up was the same in 1969 but also included Billy Bizor on the harmonica.
