Issued with two double sided front inserts only (for Disc I & Disc II showcasing different front artworks & tracklists). Unsure if it was issued in two separate slim cases for each disc, or a 2CD case.

This was officially issued by Young Money Entertainment starting 3 April 2007, once Lil Wayne had recorded Disc 2 of "Da Drought 3" in the last days of March 2007 to be added to the original one disc mixtape "Da Drought Three" which came out in late March 2007. It was likely available for purchase on mixunit.com/youngmoneyent.com/lilwayne.com at the time.

There are pictures online that show a slightly different variant of this was also circulating by 16 April 2007. The cover artworks for both Disc 1 & 2 are very slightly different in design on this other release, and the Disc 2 artwork that was used on this different variant is the one that is most commonly used now for Da Drought 3. Both inserts were also designed slightly different & the tracklist names are slightly different. Both this variant & the one on this page have the "FREE" markings over the artworks.

Disc 1 of this issue & Disc 2 of the aforementioned variants front artwork are available without the "FREE" markings, meaning that CDrs in slim cases of the original single disc mixtape (& perhaps Disc 2) may have been issued without the "FREE" markings over them. Otherwise, these artworks would have originated online.
