LC9x9 is one of several stress tests recorded within the Doepfer LC9 modular case, one third of the greater R-EW Audioholistics modular system which utilizes several less-stable sound sources that tend to deviate in pitch more easily over longer runtimes.
Primarily, the voices of both oscillators in Cre8audio's Chipz module are heard, alongside Wildfire Laboratories' Sovereign oscillator, with supplemental assistance from two Doepfer A-188 BBD units (256 and 1024 stages), a Doepfer Phase Locked Loop module, filtering via Beepboop's Tape Sampler and gain coloration via Wildfire Labs' Weird Vector (high and low rectifiers) and Sandevistan, Beepboop's Kontact gain/piezo and Noise Engineering's Kith Ruina overdrive,
Everything was summed via Dreadbox's Utopia, Wildfire Labs' Equation Group and SSDP's switch mixer before being final glossed with parametric EQ, compression and additional filtering on the computer.
