Commissioned by the "Groupe de recherches musicales de l'INA" (Paris) and realized in its studios, as well as those of the CFMI in Lyon.

"Tournages sonores" (field recordings) August 1993, on the glacier de Tré la Tête in Massif du Mont-Blanc (France).

Thanks to all the team of the GRM (and in particular to Diego) as well as François Donato, William Pellier and Olivier Capparos.

The duration is stated as 28:40 on the back cover and as 28'44'' on the rear of the booklet.
