“Distant Shouts” the newest single from Stockholm’s LITTLE CHILDREN is making notice from its placement in the March 14th episode of Grey’s Anatomy and the bands recent breathtaking US Live performances in NYC and Austin, TX’s SXSW Festival. This second release from LITTLE CHILDREN in 2013, quickly following the January release of the IN HAU EP, is raising expectations for an incredible year of music from this artist. From its opening swaying sing-a-long vocals, hushed lush vocals over arpeggio piano/guitar, "Distant Shouts" is another soaring otherworldly tune that attaches itself to your emotions immediately.

Little Children is the alias of the Swedish 28 year old Linus Lutti who creates ornamented and mysterious pop, dark and tender at the same time. Lutti's latest songs on “Distant Shouts’ and IN HAU EP, are his most ambitious to date and emerge fully formed from the ascendant pop scene in Sweden, garnering comparisons to Loney Dear, and José González. The music from IN HAU was the first since Little Children's highly praised 2010 debut album IN SILENCE, which made many year-end lists. Little Children’s music recalls the work of Will Oldham, Bon Iver, Nick Drake and Red House Painters, with something more in the delivery, a quality rendering references nearly irrelevant.
