Queimada is the result of a series of improvisations around a text by Loreto Troncoso. The voice assumes a natural role, and it´s around its contours that all the structural density of the piece evolves. A vocal counterpoint with vertiginous, calm and nervous elements, revealing inner states of inconstant intensity. "…a call of voices, of states…from silence to cry, from a whisper to a restless or quiet tell, from spelled to almost unspoken words… cravings, dreams, insomnias."
