This little EP demonstrates perhaps the "softer" and "cuddly" side of Lothar & Matthew as the songs weren't meant to pummel or impale listeners. Ironically, when I first started making electronic music a few years ago I aimed to make mostly soft ambient music, but my background in listening to punk and extreme metal seemed to seep through anyhow.

Consensual Faceplant is being released on the day of the internet SOPA strike and is a free release to demonstrate that old business models are dead. Music is meant to be heard, not become plastic platters of commodity.
