Recorded during his European concert tour of 1955.
Recorded ... of Louis Armstrong's concert tour of Western Europe in the fall of 1955. Taken from three on-stage sessions, one made at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the others at a theater in Milan. The recordings were made on behalf of Columbia by Philips, the company which represents us in many parts of the world.
Opening tracks of each side begin with his band being introduced to the audience by a local announcer, with A1 in Dutch, and B1 in Italian.
