Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1956

Label: Sello Vergara

This record was made as a memento of a bomb explosion in Cali, Colombia, on August 7, 1956.
The song is titled "Lamento Caleño", which was forbidden because when people listened to it in bars, they became sad, and some ended up committing suicide.
every time the police heard the song in the bars, they would go and break the 78 RPM, and after the police left, they would take out another copy kept with great zeal.
