This type of music includes elements of Rock, Jazz, Electronic Music, Contemporary Classical, Ambient, Folk, etc.Luis Pérez Ixoneztli is considered the initiator of the genre when he published his album Ipan In Xiktli Metzli (1981), an album where rock instruments are combined with pre-Hispanic instruments. Through his carrer Luis has collaborated with artists around the globe like Jon Anderson (Yes), Kitaro and Cirque du Soleil.
