"Things That Were" is a collection of the earliest Lustmord recordings.

CD1 is a remastered version of Lustmord's first self titled release, Lustmørd. The live tracks were recorded on location in 1980-1981.

CD2 provides several unreleased recordings from 1980-83, including one with John Balance, plus compilation tracks.
Track 2-1 was previously released on A Document Of Early Acoustic & Tactical Experimentation.
Track 2-4 was previously released on The Elephant Table Album (A Compilation Of Difficult Music).
Track 2-5 was previously released on Various - Rising From The Red Sand 4.
Track 2-6 was previously released on Alchemy.

Recorded between 1980 and 1983 on location, live and at the studio of E.M.S. London.
