Rossini's opera "Mosè in Egitto" (1818) was expanded by the composer into a 4 Act French opera for Paris with the new title "Moïse et Pharaon" in 1827. This is a recording of the newer version translated back into Italian by Calisto Bassi and retitled as "Mosè"Hungaroton recording.
