All titles were recorded between April and December 1977 in London, except for Davy's on the Road again and Mighty Quinn, which were recorded live in Europe with studio overdubs, added in London.

The release comes in a paper cover and is carried out as a replica of the original vinyl edition with inner paper lyrics sleeve (so called Paper Sleeve Collection Vol.1). It also comes with a paper obi strip and an additional information inlay mostly in Japanese language. The cover paper also imitates the canvas-like appearance of the cover of the first original vinyl issues.

Tracks 8 to 11 are bonus tracks.
