Чащоба was a one-time project by Mare Desiderii, with an album recorded in May 2017 and released same month by Den's own Conclamatum Est ‎label on CD-Rs. Limited edition of 20 handnumbered copies, the catalogue code was F.
Den has taken the idea of this project from "Coil Presents Time Machines" album, with Чащоба name meaning thicket in Russia, and almost impossible to transliterate. The initial name of the album was "The Herbal Teachers", but to the moment of releasing Den has changed it to the eponymous to the project.
Here is the original press-release written by YAOP for Conclamatum Est: "A mystery of the organic Psychedelic Drone Ambient, woven from unearthly drones as the shadows of white nights, and field recordings of birds. New project of Den Noiser from Galaxy The Incubator, Altar Of Sorrow, Omutt... Messages of the Nature itself, purifying mind and guiding to the way of dreams. The cover is hand-made with the use of pages from an old book about plants".
